HAM celebrates its birthday
Corks will be popping at this year?s 30th HAM RADIO which will be taking place between 24th and 26th June 2005 on the new exhibition grounds in Friedrichshafen. The International Amateur Radio Exhibition, which first took place in 1976 on the old exhibition grounds with 62 exhibitors and around 6,500 visitors, has turned into Europe?s most important meeting for radio enthusiasts. Once again Friedrichshafen will become the meeting place for amateur radio enthusiasts between 24th and 26th June 2005. Approximately 18,000 visitors and 180 exhibitors are expected. At the same time, Europe?s largest radio and electronic flea market will be taking place. And the 56th Bodensee meeting of the DARC (German Amateur Radio Club) will include a top quality meeting and action program. ?It would not have been possible for the HAM RADIO to develop so well without the commitment of the DARC,? said Project Manager Thomas Grunewald about the good cooperation in the past. Visitors can also look forward to the great HAM Night on Saturday 25th June 2005: Three bands will be performing on the open air grounds to get the party guests in the mood. The project management also revealed that there will be several other show performances as well.
